Professor Chung Ming-An has been selected as an outstanding team in the U-start innovation and entrepreneurship project by the Youth Development Administration of the Ministry of Education, and has been awarded a startup grant of 900,000 NT dollars.
Guided by Professor Chung Ming-An, the head of the Novel Wireless Communication and Electromagnetic Applications Laboratory in the Department of Electronic Engineering at our university, students Chai Song-Yun, Yang Zhi-Wei, and Chen Kai-Xiang executed the "U-Start Innovative Entrepreneurship Program" of the Ministry of Education and were selected as an outstanding team in the Ministry of Education's U-Start Innovative Entrepreneurship Program. They passed the first and second phase of the selection process and received a total of 900,000 NTD in entrepreneurial awards during the program's implementation period. At the U-Start Awards Ceremony, student Song-Yun expressed his gratitude to the university for providing comprehensive industry-academic resources that combined with the incubation center's entrepreneurial guidance space and media exposure opportunities. He also thanked Assistant Professor Chung Ming-An, who always guided the students toward a positive and clear path, provided guidance on the professional product development process, and team management skills. The Director Huang and Manager Chen of the incubation center provided guidance and improvement space for our project and helped us gather the entrepreneurial resources needed to match with companies and provided us with many exposure opportunities. Finally, he thanked the team members for their day-and-night support and hard work, which led to today's achievements. In the future, Ying Cheng Technology Co., Ltd. will continue to cooperate with the university and the professor to help visually impaired people enjoy technological convenience and achieve a truly barrier-free world.
