Congratulations! Professor Zhong Ming an has guided undergraduate student Zhai Songyun to participate in the 111th year U-start Innovation has won a business start-up grant of 500,000 NT dollars
The Ministry of Education announced the list of the first phase of grants for the "U-start Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program" on April 29th this year. The 75 teams that passed the selection process will receive a subsidy of 500,000 NT dollars for start-up costs and entrepreneurship counseling. They will also receive six months of business incubation guidance to enhance the innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities of young people.
Professor Zhong Ming'an from the Department of Electronics at our university led the TPDH start-up team to successfully pass the first phase of the review, fulfilling their entrepreneurial dreams. Professor Zhong used a blended teaching strategy that catered to the students' individual needs and led them to participate in extracurricular activities and projects. The team's achievements have been recognized by many parties and they have cultivated their innovative thinking abilities by combining industrial technology with academic research for practical projects, setting a good example for academic-industrial cooperation at the National Taipei University of Technology.
The teams that have received grants in the first phase will move into the university's incubation unit for six months of guidance. After establishing their companies, they can further participate in the selection of outstanding teams in the second phase, competing for a maximum of 1 million NT dollars in start-up funding.
